The Christians believe
that Jesus was crucified and he died on the Cross then he was rose again after 3 days and he was lifted
up towards in heaven.

Muslims
do not believe that Isa (A.S.) is dead or was ever crucified.
They
believe God made someone look like Jesus who was then crucified in the place of
Christ. They believe that Isa A.S. was raised to heaven and is there, and will
descend (come down) at the appointed time (before Qiyamat)
Almighty Allah says in the Holy Qur'an And (also) because of their uttering (the boastful claim): We (have) killed Allah’s Messenger, the Messiah, ‘Isa son of Maryam (Jesus son of Mary)
Whereas they neither killed nor crucified him. But (in truth) someone was made the like (of ‘Isa — Jesus) in their view. But those who disagree about him have surely fallen prey to doubt (concerning) this (murder). They know nothing (what the truth is) except (that they are) following fancy. And they certainly did not murder ‘Isa (Jesus).
In fact Allah lifted him up towards Himself (in heaven) and Allah is Almighty, Most Wise.
And, (shortly before the Last Hour at the time of the Messiah’s descent,) there will not be any (individual or sect) of the People of the Book but will (rightly) believe in ‘Isa (Jesus) before his death; and ‘Isa (Jesus) will bear witness to them on the Day of Resurrection.
(Surah Al-Nisaa, Verse 157,158,159)
According
to Hadith, Isa A.S. is on the second heaven. Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam, Peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned,
"During the Meraj (Ascension), I met Hazrat Isa (A.S.) on the second
heaven. I found him of medium stature, reddish white. His body was so clean and
clear, that it appeared as though he had just performed ghusal (ablution,
cleansing of the entire body) and come."
In another Hadith, Rasulullah (Sallallahu
Alayhi Wasallam) mentioned to the Jews that, “Hazrat Isa (A.S.) is not dead, he
will most surely return to you before Qiyamat (the Day of Judgement)."
The
Physical Features of Hazrat Isa (A.S.)
According
to Hadith
Isa
A.S will resemble the (famous) Sahabi Hadhrat Urwa bin Masoodi (R.A.). He will
be of average height and red and white in colour. His hair spread to the
shoulders, straight, neat and shining as after a bath. On bending his head, it
will seem as if pearls are falling. He will have an armour on his body. He will
be wearing two pieces of cloth light yellow in color.
Who was crucified in place
of Isa A.S.?
Quran does not tell the name of
that person who was? Because of Quran is
not like a story book. It is a book of God, a book of true guidance for
humanity. It discusses the reformation of faith and practice.
It rejected the false claim of
Jews and the faith of Christians about Crucifixion of Isa
(A.S.).
